The role

To support further worldwide growth, NewCold is looking to recruit a Tax Compliance Manager to join the team. As Tax Compliance Manager you will manage execution of all tax compliance related matters globally in close cooperation with NewCold's Tax Team. Based in the company's headquarters in Breda, you will be part of a multifunctional team and exposed to many parts of NewCold's global business.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Help setting up and maintain a proper tax accounting structure, including preliminary work on the Dutch corporate tax return
  • Collect information for corporate income tax returns from relevant sources and alignment with Finance, Legal, Treasury, Procurement and Project Management
  • Coordinate/prepare the corporate income tax returns and liaise with (local) tax advisors
  • Monitoring the quarterly VAT return process and support where necessary
  • Provide compliance related support where necessary in the area of wage tax and global mobility
  • Assist the accounting team with tax accounting and compliance questions and provide support on tax provisioning
  • Maintaining tax records and keeping up with all tax filing deadlines
  • Maintaining, updating and implementing tax compliance procedures and monitoring the level of compliance
  • Opportunity for further development and growth depending on personal interest and knowledge

The candidate
  • Open, down to earth and hands-on professional with attention to detail, awareness of compliance needs and a high sense of ownership
  • Proven ability in giving advice and guidance regarding tax returns and tax compliance related questions
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, international environment with tight deadlines and highly comfortable with numbers
  • Approx 5 years of experience in a tax compliance team or with tax compliance related work with CIT and VAT. In-house experience is a nice-to-have
  • Experience with wage tax, global mobility and tax accounting is considered an asset
  • Experience with Netsuite and Tagetik is considered an asset
  • Highly proficient in Dutch and English, additional language skills are considered an asset
  • Available for 32 to 40 hours per week
